Why is hate speech prohibited?

Modified on Wed, 10 Jun at 5:27 PM

At Hidden, we’re dedicated to a safe and respectful environment for everyone. Hate speech that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other characteristics is strictly prohibited.

Why we don’t allow it

  • User safety: hate speech can incite violence, create division, and cause harm to individuals and communities.
  • Promoting respect: we want an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone feels safe and valued.
  • Legal compliance: hate speech is illegal in many regions, and we follow those laws.
  • Platform integrity: allowing hate speech undermines the trust and safety of our community.

Examples of prohibited content

  • Language that promotes violence or hatred toward a specific group or individual.
  • Discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.
  • Content that glorifies or encourages harmful behavior toward others based on their identity.

What to do next

  • Review your content for any harmful or discriminatory language, images, or themes that target others based on personal characteristics.
  • Edit and resubmit after removing any hate speech or harmful content.
  • Learn the guidelines in our Content Guidelines and Terms of Service.
  • Reach out at support@hidden.com if you need clarification or guidance.
