Tips for Fans: how do I get the most out of Hidden?

Last updated 1 September 2026

A few things worth knowing early, whether you are here to find someone new or to support creators you already follow.

One

There are two feeds

Discovery shows content from across the platform, which is where you find people you have not come across before.

Following shows only the creators you follow. Following costs nothing and is separate from subscribing, so you can build a feed without paying for anything.

Two

Know what you are paying for

A subscription is a monthly charge that renews until you cancel. A paid post or unlocked message is a one-off. Tips are voluntary and buy nothing in particular unless communicated directly with the creator.

Check Account, then Active Subscriptions, every so often. Subscriptions renew quietly, and it is common to find you are still paying for someone you stopped watching months ago.

Three

A subscription does not buy a person's time

It buys access to content. Some creators reply to messages constantly and some never do, and neither is doing anything wrong. If you want something specific made for you, that is a separate arrangement to agree with them rather than something a subscription includes.

Do not pressure anyone, do not repeat a request that has been declined, and take no for an answer the first time. Creators can block whoever they like, and that ends your access with no refund.

Four

Keep the payment side clean

Pay through Hidden and nowhere else. If a creator asks you to send money by bank transfer, a payment app, or a gift card, do not, and tell us. That arrangement is against our rules, it leaves you with no protection at all, and it is a common setup for scams using stolen photos.

If a charge looks wrong, come to us before your bank. A dispute takes weeks and removes any chance of us sorting it out directly.

Five

Look after your account

Use a password you do not use anywhere else. We will never ask you for it, and any message that does is not from us.

Anything that feels off, report it. Blocking someone is private and tells us nothing, so if a rule is being broken, report as well as block.
