How to create your Creator account

Two stages: create the account, then verify your identity with Yoti. You cannot publish or earn until both are done.
Stage one, your account
Answer a few questions about your profile and accept our Terms of Service. You are then sent to Yoti to verify who you are.
Read the terms before accepting rather than after. They cover what you can post, how you are paid, and what happens to your earnings, and they are the document we work from if anything goes wrong.
Stage two, verification
Yoti handles identity checks for us. You will need:
| 1 | A government-issued ID Passport, driving licence, or national ID card. It must be in date and readable in full, with no corners cut off and no glare across the details. |
| 2 | Your country of residence Where you actually live now, which is not always where your ID was issued. |
| 3 | A facial scan Taken there and then, to match against your ID. Good light and no hat or sunglasses. |
| 4 | Anything else Yoti asks for Occasionally security questions or a second document. |
When Yoti is finished you are sent back to Hidden to complete your profile.
Why we verify
Everyone who appears in content on Hidden has to be a verified adult who agreed to be there. Verification is how we know that, and it is not optional for anyone who wants to publish or be paid.
Yoti holds the documents, not us. We receive confirmation that the check passed rather than copies of your ID.
Common questions
+How long does verification take?
Usually quick, though it can take longer if a document needs a closer look. We write to you either way.
+My verification failed.
Most failures are a photo problem rather than a decision about you: glare, a cropped edge, or a document too worn to read. Try again in better light with the whole document in frame. See Why was my application rejected?
+Does my legal name appear on my profile?
No. Verification is between you, Yoti, and us. Your profile shows the username and display name you choose.
+Can I start posting before verification finishes?
You can set up your profile, but publishing and payouts wait until verification is complete.
+Someone else will appear in my content.
Everyone who appears has to be verified and to have agreed to it, through the release process. Sort that out before you post rather than after.
