Application rejected

Last updated 10 August 2026

Most rejections are a photo problem or a missing document rather than a decision about you. Fix the specific thing and reapply.

Your ID or selfie

The most common cause by a distance. Verification is rejected if:

The selfie is poor quality, or does not clearly show you holding the ID
The image of the ID is poor quality, blurred, or has glare across the details
The ID is expired, or expires within 30 days
The ID is damaged, hole-punched, cracked, taped, or cut
The ID is not government-issued, or does not carry your photo

Photograph it flat, in daylight, with no flash, on a flat surface, with all four corners in frame and nothing covered. That fixes most of these.

Your cover image or profile photo

It does not match your verified identity
It is misleading about the kind of content you will post

If anyone else appears in your content

Everyone who appears has to be verified and to have agreed to it. For each additional person, submit:

Their government-issued, unexpired ID
A selfie of them holding that ID
A signed release form
A selfie of them holding the signed release form

The same applies to an account run by two or more creators. There is no way around this and no exception for a partner or a friend.

Things that will always be rejected

Escort services. Advertising them, or anything that reads as advertising them, is prohibited.
Offering direct contact with fans. Meeting, calling, or contact outside the platform.
References to other payment services. In your bio, website link, cover image, or profile photo. Payment happens on Hidden only.
Being under 18. No exceptions, ever.

Common questions

+Can I apply again?

Yes, once you have fixed the reason it was rejected. Resubmitting the same thing unchanged will get the same answer.

+You did not tell me why.

Contact support and ask. We can usually tell you which part it was.

+My ID is valid but keeps failing.

Try a different document if you have one, and take the photo somewhere brighter with no flash. If it still fails, get in touch rather than repeating the attempt.

+Where do I get a release form?

You can request a release form under Mentions when creating a post.
