Why won't my tip go through?

If your tip won’t send and you’re seeing an error like “Card not accepted,” “Enter another card,” or “Transaction could not be processed,” here are the most common reasons and how to fix them.

Common reasons a tip fails

  • Card details were entered incorrectly.
  • Insufficient funds in the account.
  • An incorrect address, zip, or postal code.
  • You’ve reached the daily spending limit on your account. Limits reset daily, so try again tomorrow.
  • A daily online transaction limit set by your bank or card provider.

Still not working?

If your bank is blocking the payment, we’re not able to see why on our end, so it’s best to contact your card issuer directly. Note that using a proxy or VPN can also trigger your bank’s IP verification and block the purchase.
