A tip is a one-off payment you send to a creator, on top of anything you have already paid for. You can send one from a post or from a creator's profile, and it is charged straight away.
How to send a tip
01 Find the tip button. On a post or a creator's profile it sits to the right.
02 Enter an amount. The smallest tip you can send is $5. Amounts are in US dollars.
03 Confirm. The tip is charged to your saved card immediately and the creator is notified.
Before you send one
A tip is voluntary and it is final. Once sent, it cannot be reversed or refunded, so check the amount before you confirm.
Common questions
+Can I take a tip back?
No. Tips are final once sent. If you sent the wrong amount, we are under no obligation to return it.
+Does the creator know it came from me?
Yes. Creators see who tipped them and how much.
+Do I need a subscription to tip someone?
No. You can tip a creator whether or not you subscribe to them.
+My tip will not go through.
A tip is charged like any other payment, so a failed tip usually means a declined card. See Why did my payment fail? for the common causes and how to fix them.
