Why was my application rejected?

Modified on Thu, 11 Jun at 11:28 AM

If your application was rejected, here are the most common reasons and what you can do to resubmit successfully.

ID and verification (Yoti)

  • Poor quality selfie taken with your government-issued, non-expired photo ID.
  • Poor quality image of your government-issued, non-expired photo ID or passport.
  • The ID is expired or will expire within 30 days.
  • The ID is invalid or damaged (hole-punched, cracked, taped, or cut up).
  • The ID is not government-issued, or doesn’t contain the holder’s photo.

Third-party content

If your content features another person, you must submit:

  • The Creator’s ID
  • The Creator’s selfie photo with matching ID
  • A Creator release form
  • The Creator’s selfie photo with the signed release form

Cover images and profile photos

  • The image doesn’t match your identity.
  • The image is misleading or confusing. It should represent the type of content you intend to post.
  • The image contains nudity or sexual material, which isn’t allowed for covers or profile photos.

Applications for two or more Creators

If your account features more than one Creator, you’ll also need to submit, for each Creator:

  • A government-issued, non-expired ID
  • A selfie photo with that ID

Other common reasons

  • The account promotes escort services, which are prohibited by our Terms and Conditions.
  • The account suggests direct contact with Fans, which is prohibited.
  • The account references third-party payment processors or services in the About section, website URL, cover image, or profile photo.
  • The account owner is not over the age of 18.
