If another creator mentions you
Last updated 10 August 2026
If another creator mentions you in a post and you would rather they had not, report it. You do not have to explain yourself to them or ask them first.
How to ask for it to go
01 Report the post. Use the report option on the post itself, and say the mention is of you and that you did not agree to it.
02 We review it. A moderator looks at the post and at what you have told us.
03 It comes down, or we explain why not. Either way you hear back.
If you appear in the content itself
That is different and more serious than being named. Content featuring you requires your verified consent, and if that was not given, tell us directly rather than only using the report button. Say that you are the person in it.
The same applies to anything AI-generated using your likeness. We treat both urgently.
Common questions
+Will they know it was me who reported it?
We do not tell anyone who reported them. In a case like this they may work it out from the context, but it does not come from us.
+Should I message them first?
You can if you want to and it is often the quickest route, but you are not obliged to. Report it if you would rather not have that conversation.
+What if it keeps happening?
Tell us that it is repeated rather than reporting each post separately. A pattern is treated differently from a single incident, and we can only see it if you say so.
+Can I block them as well?
Yes, and it is worth doing both. Blocking stops them reaching you but tells us nothing on its own.
