Harm to other people

These rules are about how you treat other people rather than what you film. They apply to messages, captions, and profiles as much as to posts.

They also apply to fans, so if any of this is happening to you, report it.

Bullying, harassment, and hate speech

No content targeting, threatening, or degrading a person or a group. That covers insults, threats, and content encouraging others to pile on.

Hate speech is treated as its own category: anything attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic of who they are. There is no version of this that is acceptable as a joke.

Blackmail and coercion

No threatening to release information about someone unless they do what you want, and no using what you know about a person to pressure them into anything.

If someone is doing this to you, do not pay and do not negotiate. Screenshot everything and tell us. Blackmail is a crime in most places, and paying makes it worse rather than ending it.

Personal information

No sharing anyone's private details without their agreement. Names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, email addresses, or anything else that identifies or locates a person.

This is easy to do accidentally. A delivery label in shot, a document on a desk, a street sign, a school uniform, a reflection in a window. Check what is visible before you post, and remember it applies to your own details too.

Impersonation

No pretending to be someone else, whether another creator, a public figure, or a company. No using another person's name, photographs, or details to mislead people.

This is what verification exists to prevent, and it is also why accounts get reported for using photographs that are not theirs. If someone is impersonating you, tell us with the account details.

Scams and malicious content

No phishing, no deliberate misinformation, and no links or files intended to harm anyone. That includes anything designed to get another person's login details or payment information.

If this is happening to you

Screenshot it first, then block, then report. Blocking is private and tells us nothing, so a block on its own means the person simply moves on to someone else.
