How Wallet Credits work
Last updated 7 August 2026
Your wallet is a balance you top up in advance. Purchases come out of it automatically, so you are not entering a card every time.
| Topping up | You add credit with your saved card. The top-up is charged the same way any other payment is. |
| Spending it | Subscriptions, renewals, tips, and unlocks all come out of your balance when there is enough in it. |
| Timing | Immediate. There is no waiting for a wallet payment to clear. |
| On your statement | Only the top-up appears. Spending from your balance afterwards does not create new charges. |
Purchases are not split
If something costs more than your balance, your card is charged the full amount and your balance is left alone. We do not take part from the wallet and part from the card.
So a balance smaller than the thing you are buying is effectively stuck there until you spend it on something cheaper, or top up enough to cover the purchase.
Before you top up
Wallet credit is not refundable and it is not withdrawable. Once money is in your wallet it can be spent on Hidden and nowhere else, so only add what you expect to use.
If you delete your account, any unspent balance goes with it.
Common questions
+Can I get my balance back as money?
No. Wallet credit is spent on Hidden rather than returned to your card.
+Does my balance expire?
No.
+What happens if my balance runs out mid-subscription?
The renewal is taken from your card instead. If that fails as well, the subscription ends. See Why didn't my subscription auto-renew?
+Why use the wallet at all?
Fewer charges on your statement, and one payment rather than many. Some people also find a set balance easier to keep track of than a card.
