How payouts appear on your bank statement
Last updated 7 August 2026
Payouts do not arrive under the name Hidden. They come in under one of our billing entities, and the exact wording varies by bank.
What to look for
GAIA DIGITAL
DION DIGITAL CONSULTING
STICHTING CUSTODIAN
Which one you see depends on where you are and how the payment was routed. Banks shorten, capitalise, and add locations to these, so expect a variation rather than an exact match.
The payment details often include your payout reference number, which is the surest way to match a deposit to a specific request. You will find it under Statements, in the Payout Requests tab.
Why not Hidden
We pay out through billing entities rather than directly, which is how the money moves internationally. It also means the name of the platform does not appear on a bank statement that other people may see, which matters to a lot of creators.
Common questions
+My bank asked what the payment is for.
Income from self-employment or freelance work is an accurate answer. You are not obliged to describe the platform or the work to your bank, though you do have to declare the income to your tax authority.
+Does the payout name change between payments?
It can. All of the names above are ours.
+Can I ask for a different name?
No. The name is set by the entity making the payment and is the same for everyone routed the same way.
+My bank rejected the payment.
Tell us with the payout reference. A returned payment usually means a detail on the account does not match, and it is fixable.
