Start earning on Hidden

Last updated 7 August 2026

Three things have to be in place before money can reach you: verified identity, matching bank details, and your tax information. Missing any one of them is the usual reason earnings sit there and will not move.

What you need

1Verified identity Complete the creator application and full identity verification through Yoti. Nothing publishes and nothing pays out until this is done.
2Bank details that match The account has to be in the same name as your verified identity. A partner's account or a business account in another name will not pass.
3Your tax information US creators complete a W-9. Creators in the EU submit DAC7 information. Payouts do not run without it.

Then how it works

You keep 82% of everything you earn, from subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages, and tips. Earnings sit in your pending balance for 5 business days, then become available to withdraw.

When you want the money, request a payout from your Statements page. There is no automatic schedule, so it goes when you ask for it.

Common questions

+How long until I can earn anything?

Once verification is complete you can publish and start earning immediately. Verification itself is usually quick unless a document needs a closer look.

+Do I need tax information before I can post?

You can post and earn without it, but you cannot withdraw. Doing it early avoids a balance you cannot touch.

+What if I am not in the US or EU?

Requirements depend on where you live. Check your Banking page, and get in touch if it is not clear what applies to you.

+Can someone else be paid on my behalf?

No. The bank account has to be yours and in your name. This is a legal requirement rather than a preference.
