Cancel a payout request

Payout requests cannot be cancelled from your account. Ask us as soon as you notice, because whether it can be stopped depends entirely on how far along it is.
We cannot promise a cancellation, but early requests usually succeed and late ones usually do not.
What to send us

All three are in the Statements section of your profile, under the Payout Requests tab.
Contact support with those details and say clearly that you want the payout cancelled. Do not wait to explain why first.
If it cannot be stopped
The payment goes to your bank as normal. If you asked to cancel because the amount was wrong, you can simply request the difference again later. If it was because your bank details were wrong, tell us that specifically, since a payment to a closed or incorrect account usually bounces back to your balance rather than disappearing.
Common questions
+How long do I have?
There is no fixed window. Once the payment has left it cannot be recalled, so speed is the only thing that helps.
+I requested too much by mistake.
If it goes through, the money is still yours and it is simply in your bank rather than your balance. There is usually no harm done unless the wire fee applied.
+I entered the wrong bank details.
Tell us immediately and correct them in the Banking section. This is the version of this problem worth hurrying over.
+Will the fee be refunded if it is cancelled?
If the payment never left, no fee should apply. Ask us to confirm when we cancel it.
