How much of my earnings do I keep?

Last updated 1 September 2026

You keep 82% of everything you earn. That applies to subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages, and tips alike.

What the other 18% covers

Payment processing, hosting and delivering your content, support and moderation, referral payments, and the cost of getting money to you internationally.

It is taken at the point of earning rather than at payout, so the balance you see is already your share. Nothing further is deducted when you withdraw, unless the international wire fee applies to you.

Worked example

A fan subscribes at$20.00
Platform share, 18%$3.60
Reaches your balance$16.40

Tax is your own responsibility and is not deducted from your earnings. What you receive is gross income as far as your tax authority is concerned.

Common questions

+Is the split different for tips?

No. 82% on everything.

+Can the percentage change?

We can change it, and it is set out in the Terms of Service. We would not do so quietly.

+What are adjustments on my statement?

Corrections after the fact, usually a refund or a chargeback on something you had already been credited for. See Understanding your payouts and balances.

+Do I get a higher share if I earn more?

The standard rate is 82% for everyone. We occasionally run incentives, and those are announced when they exist.
