Prohibited themes
Last updated 10 August 2026
Some themes are not permitted in any form, including as fiction, role-play, or a joke.
These are the categories our payment providers and the law in most countries put outside what any platform can carry.
What is covered
Incest. Romantic or sexual scenarios between family members, whether explicit, implied, or referenced in dialogue, captions, or tags.
Bestiality. Explicit, implied, or suggested content involving animals, including narratives and audio.
Necrophilia. Any depiction, description, or reference, in any medium.
Fiction is not an exemption
Role-play, obvious fantasy, a joke, or a meme all count. So does a caption, a tag, a username, or a line of dialogue that references one of these themes without showing anything.
The reasoning is simple. Content of this kind normalises the thing it references whether or not anything real happened, and the platforms that process our payments do not distinguish between depiction and suggestion.
What catches people out
Familial language used as a term of address in a sexual context is the most common one, and it is treated the same way whether or not anyone involved is related. Tags and captions carrying that language will be declined even where the content itself is unremarkable.
If a phrase is a common shorthand in the wider genre, that does not make it permitted here.
If your post was declined
Check the caption and tags as well as the content, since that is usually where it is. Remove the reference and post again.
Ask us if you cannot see what triggered it, and say so if you think the decision was wrong.
