How to delete your account

Deleting a creator account is permanent. Withdraw your balance and think about your subscribers before you start, because neither is dealt with automatically.
Withdraw your balance first.
Request a payout and wait for it to arrive before deleting. Once the account is gone, recovering money left in it is not possible at all.
Before you delete

| 2 | Think about your subscribers People are paying for access to your feed. Deleting ends that, and telling them beforehand avoids a wave of complaints and disputes that would otherwise land after you have gone. |

| 4 | Note anything you will need for tax Earnings statements and payout records are easier to download now than to request later. |
How to delete
Sign in, go to Settings, open Account, and select Delete Account.
What we keep
Deleting removes your profile and content from Hidden. It does not remove records we are required to keep, including transaction and payout records, tax reporting information, and verification records.
These are held for the periods the law requires rather than for as long as we like, and they are not visible to anyone using the platform.
If you only want a break
Deleting is the most drastic option and it is not reversible. If you want to stop for a while, stop posting, or take your subscriptions offline, and come back when you are ready. Get in touch and we will talk through what suits your situation.
Common questions
+What happens to my subscribers?
Their subscriptions to you end. They are not billed again after the account is gone.
+Can I come back later under the same name?
A new account would need to go through verification again from the start, and your username may not be available. Ask us before deleting if keeping it matters to you.
+Will my content disappear from the internet?
It comes off Hidden. If someone has copied it elsewhere, that is a separate problem and deleting your account does not solve it. Tell us before you go if you have an ongoing issue of that kind, because it is much harder to help afterwards.
+I deleted by mistake.
Contact support immediately, and mention any balance you had. The sooner you write, the more we can do.
